Open Source. The term is very much conjures up images of software that is free for the taking. Just download it off the web, compile it and your problems are solved.

Before going further, let me make it clear from the beginning that I am working with the R&D and Development center of OpenERP SA Editor of an Open Source Management Solution. Where we always prefer to use the opensource software and solution rather then using the commercial solution. At one time, I was even involved with a company that was working on an commercial softwares and operating system. Consequently, I have a perspective on open source and commercial products that I hope will prove informational and beneficial.

Open source solutions are not always free, and it may not be the best software for your system Infrastructure. You need to make the software decision that is best for your application and company situation. It may take your lots of time that will be the investment to get the correct opensource solution.

I would like to provide best opensource alternatives for every required software infrastructure, and this i can based on my experience on working with the commercial and opensource software solutions. If we talk about an IT company Softwares Infrastructure, It requires lots of initial cost to set up the development center. The type of softwares requires are System Softwares, Programming Softwares and Tools, and Application Softwares.

Firewall & Router based on FreeBSD
